- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support.
- Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax workings, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance activities.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and depreciation.
- Analyse financial data and prepare MIS reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements,



including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, and Companies Act provisions, where applicable.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper accounting for additions, disposals, and depreciation.

- Work with accounting software such as Tally, Ouick books,MYOB ,XERO ,Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
