Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- Minimum 2 years experiences in machining or assembling dismantling components.
- This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision.
- Training and/or experience using measuring equipment and reading drawings is needed.
- Diploma in Mechanical engineering / Production or Equitant.
- Must be able to perform shop math calculations and read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.
- Ready to work in shifts, overtime and weekends.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with others to meet production demands.
- Performs wide-ranging machining operations largely on standard work having close tolerance and finish specifications.
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates standard and special types of machine tools.
- Working knowledge of cutting tools and materials.
- Strategic and creative thinking to analyse issues that may arise and create solutions.
- Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
