Role & responsibilities
- Lead mechanical maintenance activities for Pickling Line & Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) , ensuring high equipment availability, reliability, and production uptime.
- Troubleshooting acid circulation pump failure, low flow, high vibration, cavitation, mechanical seal leakage, bearing failure and coupling problems.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Pickling Line Entry/Exit Sections, Pay Off Reel, Tension Reel, Pinch Rolls, Bridle Rolls, Deflector Rolls and Strip Steering Systems.
- Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of pickling tanks, acid circulation systems, pumps, piping, valves, heat exchangers, and exhaust systems.
- Plan and execute shutdown maintenance, equipment inspections, overhauling, and commissioning activities with minimum production loss.
- Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical maintenance spares, consumables, equipment, and critical components for CRM, HAPL, and Pickling Line operations.
