We are looking for an experienced Shopify / WordPress Developer to join our team and work on a range of website development, customisation, maintenance, and optimisation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customise and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites
- Build and customise Shopify themes and WordPress websites
- Work with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
- Install and configure Shopify apps and WordPress plugins
- Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs
- Improve website speed, performance and mobile responsiveness
- Implement SEO-friendly website structures and technical requirements
- Integrate third-party tools, payment gateways, forms and other APIs where required
- Convert designs/Figma files into responsive websites
- Perform website updates, migrations and ongoing maintenance
- Ensure websites are secure, functional and user-friendly
Requirements
- Proven experience with Shopify and WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of Shopify themes and Liquid
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, themes and plugins
- Valuable understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- PHP knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of website speed and technical SEO
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
