We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager ? E-commerce & Modern Trade to drive business growth, new account acquisition, revenue generation, and key account development across the Bengaluru/Karnataka market.

This is a highly field-oriented role, with approximately 60% of the role requiring extensive market visits. The candidate will be required to regularly travel across Bengaluru/Karnataka to meet and liaise with dealers, distributors, retailers, buyers, category managers, procurement teams, marketplace partners, and other relevant business partners. The role requires strong relationship-building, market development, new business acquisition, and commercial negotiation skills, along with the ability to independently own revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Spend approximately 60% of the working time in the field, conducting market visits, meeting dealers, distributors, retailers, buyers, and relevant business partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across E-commerce, Modern Trade, organized retail, marketplaces, and D2C accounts.




- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective accounts and drive new account acquisition from prospecting to closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, buyers, category managers, procurement teams, and marketplace partners.
- Manage and grow E-commerce accounts across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra,And Quick Commerce Platform , Swiggy Instamart , Zepto Etc and other relevant marketplaces.
- Manage Modern Trade chains, large-format retailers, supermarkets, and hypermarkets, including regular market and store visits.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales targets across E-commerce and Modern Trade channels.
- Drive existing account growth through new SKUs, range expansion, increased penetration, and store/outlet expansion.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, listing terms, trade terms, and payment terms.
