Role & responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, water, products, and environmental samples.
- Conduct environmental monitoring of production and cleanroom areas.
- Perform sterility, microbial limit, and microbial identification tests as applicable.
- Maintain microbiology laboratory equipment, cultures, and records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS), contamination, and microbial excursions.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, logbooks, and laboratory documentation.
- Support validation, media preparation, and microbiological qualification activities.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or related field.
- 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, SOPs, and microbiological testing.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring, sterility and microbial limit testing.
- Good documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid attention to detail and aseptic working practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
