Job Summary

The Counsellor / Telecaller(females only) is responsible for contacting prospective customers/leads, understanding their requirements, providing appropriate information about the organization's products/services, scheduling appointments, following up with prospects, and converting qualified leads into customers.

Key Responsibilities1. Calling & Lead Management
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers from assigned lead databases.
- Respond to incoming enquiries through phone and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements and provide relevant information.
- Maintain regular follow-up with interested prospects.
- Update lead status and customer information in the CRM/MIS.

2. Counselling & Customer Interaction
- Counsel customers based on their needs and requirements.
- Explain products/services, features, advantages, pricing, and processes clearly.
- Address customer questions and objections professionally.
- Build trust and maintain positive relationships with prospects.
- Guide customers through the next steps and documentation process,



where applicable.

3. Lead Conversion
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria.
- Schedule appointments, counselling sessions, demos, or branch visits.
- Follow up with prospects until closure.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the sales/marketing team for qualified leads.

4. Customer Follow-Up
- Maintain a systematic follow-up schedule for prospective customers.
- Contact customers regarding pending requirements, appointments, offers, or other relevant updates.
- Ensure timely communication and minimize lead leakage.
- Reconnect with inactive or previously interested leads.

5. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain accurate daily call and lead records.
- Submit daily/weekly performance reports to the reporting manager.
- Track calls made, conversations, qualified leads, appointments, conversions, and follow-ups.
