The prime role of HOD is to provide robust academic leadership for Science department. The HOD is required to lead, manage and develop the department to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.
It includes curriculum planning and implementation.
Work collaboratively with members of the department and positively contribute to departmental tasks, such as policies, common assessments, instructional practices, grading practice, etc.
