The company is expanding its presence across Modern Trade and is looking for a result-oriented professional to manage and grow key retail accounts in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

Role Summary

The Modern Trade Manager will be responsible for managing key Up-to-date Trade accounts, driving sales and profitability, strengthening relationships with buyers and category managers, and expanding PRAN's presence across key retail chains. The role will own account planning, negotiations, product listings, promotions, visibility, stock availability, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow business with assigned Modern Trade key accounts and retail chains.
- Develop strong relationships with buyers, category managers, commercial teams, and key account stakeholders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP)



and account-specific growth strategies.
- Drive new SKU listings, assortment expansion, store penetration, and distribution growth.
- Negotiate trade terms, margins, schemes, promotions, visibility investments, and commercial agreements.
- Plan and execute promotions, in-store activations, merchandising, and visibility programs.
- Ensure product availability, timely replenishment, and reduction of stock-outs in coordination with Supply Chain and distributors.
- Monitor account-wise, SKU-wise, and store-wise sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Track competitor pricing, promotions, product launches, and shelf presence.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams for smooth account operations.
- Ensure timely resolution of claims, deductions, billing issues, payments, and reconciliations.
