Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and sharp Social Media Writer who understands how brands communicate on social media. The role will focus specifically on developing short-form social media content, including captions, copies, hooks, content ideas, and creative concepts across platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, platform behaviour, brand voice, and what makes content engaging, relevant, and shareable.

This role is specifically focused on social media writing and ideation and does not involve long-form content writing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Copywriting
- Write engaging and platform-appropriate social media captions and copies.
- Develop short-form content relevant platforms.
- Write hooks, headlines, taglines and supporting copy for social media creatives and campaigns.
- Adapt messaging based on the platform,



audience and brand tone.

2. Content Ideation
- Develop fresh and relevant ideas for social media posts, campaigns and content series.
- Contribute creative concepts and angles for brand communication.
- Identify opportunities to turn trends, topical conversations and cultural moments into relevant brand content.
- Think beyond standard formats and bring recent perspectives to social content.

3. Brand Voice & Communication
- Understand different brand personalities and adapt writing styles accordingly.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging and brand guidelines.
- Translate brand objectives and communication briefs into concise and engaging social media copy.
- Ensure every piece of content is clear, purposeful and aligned with the brand.

4. Social Media & Trend Understanding
- Stay updated with social media trends, formats, conversations and emerging content styles.
