To ensure consistent production of high‑quality cured PCR tyres by effective control and optimization of curing processes, curing equipment, heat parameters, and compliance with quality, safety, and productivity targets
Ares of Working: Tire Building, Curing, Final Finish & Dispatch Process in PCR Tire manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities / Job Summary

Process & Technical Responsibilities
- Validate and release new curing presses as per project timelines.
- Lead and execute Thermocouple (TC) studies and validation as per approved heat engineering plans.
- Conduct and monitor cure cycle trials for existing and recent PCR tyre designs.
- Analyse and approve cure charts and decide disposition of cure‑aberration tyres.
- Carry out bladder stretch calculations and ensure correct bladder size selection for new moulds.
- Drive bladder life improvement initiatives and optimization.
- Perform Blow Point Study and process capability improvement.
- Support SAKA‑SAKA / New mould trials and validations.
- Troubleshoot curing and curing‑related defects linked to upstream processes (building, materials, etc.)
- Ensure all cured tyres meet all quality standards w.r.t visual inspection
Quality, Audit & Compliance
- Ensure no defective tyre passes from curing, with full implementation of Poka‑Yoke systems.
- Responsible for internal, external, customer, and system audits related to curing and heat engineering.
- Maintain and update all curing‑related documents, SOPs, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for quality system implementation.
Productivity, Cost & Scrap Control
- Achieve cured tyre scrap reduction targets as per plant KPIs.
- Control and reduce curing‑related defects and rejections.
- Drive continuous improvement projects for productivity, energy efficiency, and cost saving.
- Monitor bladder consumption and cost.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain reports for:
- Daily quality performance
- Defect trends
- Rejection analysis
- Prepare reports for management review meetings.
· Cured tyre scrap (%) reduction
· FTQ ( First time Quality) improvement
· Curing defect rate
· Bladder life (actual vs target)
· Audit compliance score
· New press / mould validation adherence to timelines
