Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer with a positive understanding of various electronics/electrical components.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work on obsolescence activities with to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with the documentation
- End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions
- Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts.
- Create/update component specification sheets as per requirements
- Design/update cable assemblies, interconnects & schematics as per requirements using AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
- Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics with 1- 3 years of experience.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Mandatory Skills:
- Must have a good understanding of electrical/electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
- Must be able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Critical/system-level thinking.
- Good project management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to have:
- Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
- Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence
- Understanding on PCB and components
- Hands-on experience of testing electronics components- bench-level test and system-level test
- Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
