The Sr. Associate Scrum Master will support AI products and platforms within the AI & Data Organization at Amgen.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate agile events including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos and backlog refinement meetings to promote team collaboration.
- Guide and Coach product teams in understanding and applying Agile frameworks principles and practices.
- Work with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog ensuring the team delivers high-value outcomes aligned with business objectives.
- Resolve conflicts and remove impediments hindering team’s progress. Escalate risks and cross-Team dependency to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Teams by leading retrospectives, encouraging innovation, promoting Agile engineering practices and DevOps culture.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the Team ensuring transparency and alignment with Sprint goals and Team objectives.
- Help the scrum teams achieve delivery acceleration focused on business outcomes by reaching higher levels of scrum maturity.
- Support scaling Agile by engaging in cross-team ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) planning to align team activities with Agile Release Train (ART) objectives.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering field and 5 to 9 years of relevant experience
