We are seeking a disciplined and meticulous Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to join our healthcare team. You will ensure that the operating room environment is secure, completely sterile, and fully functional before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your role is critical in assisting the surgical team and maximizing patient safety.

Key Responsibilities1. Pre-Operative Preparation
- Sterilize all surgical instruments and diagnostic tools using autoclaves.
- Set up the operating table, lighting, suction units, and patient monitors.
- Calibrate and test critical biomedical gear like anesthesia machines.
- Arrange surgical trays, gowns, drapes, and gloves in the sterile field.
- Verify that surgical drapes, sutures, and medication stocks are full.

2. Intra-Operative Assistance
- Safely transfer and position patients on the operating table.
- Pass sterile instruments, tools, and surgical supplies to the surgeon.
- Help the anesthesiologist handle IV fluids, drugs, and blood transfusions.
- Track and maintain strict sterilization codes within the active room.




- Stand by to adjust lights, operate C-ARM machines, or change equipment.

3. Post-Operative Duties & Maintenance
- Assist the nursing team in moving patients to the recovery room.
- Sort, count, and clean used surgical instruments post-surgery.
- Dispose of biomedical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
- Fumigate and deep-clean the theatre zone for upcoming procedures.
- Keep highly accurate logs of sterilization records and machine maintenance.
