Job Description:
- Import Operations- vessel allocation, shipping instructions and coordination with various stakeholders
- Ensure all contract POs/Work Orders are completed for LC and funds assurance, and confirm that all documents are in line with customs regulations
- Regular liaisoning with CHA and clearing agents
- Management of contract and operations
- All insurance policies negotiations, renewals and coverages (except employee policy)
- Management of the claims from start to end
- Maintaining proper insurance records
- Issuance of purchase order for commodity and marketing
- Obtain quotes and negotiate rates for the license scrip required for customs duty payment
- Team Management and coordination with marketing, finance, logistics, operations & plant
- MIS and reporting on monthly basis
