To design and develop automotive electrical systems, wiring harnesses and E/E architecture, ensuring proper electrical integration and functionality of vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop automotive wiring harnesses and electrical circuits.
• Develop E/E architecture based on vehicle requirements.
• Perform wire selection and electrical component selection.
• Design and optimize wiring harness routing.
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Analyze electrical requirements and ensure correct integration of components.
• Coordinate with R&D;, Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers.
• Support electrical design validation, testing and troubleshooting. • Identify and resolve electrical design-related issues.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change activities.
• Ensure designs comply with automotive standards and company requirements.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Electrical & Electronics Systems. • Hands-on experience in Wiring Harness Design.
• Good knowledge of E/E Architecture and Electrical Circuits.
• Experience in Harness Routing, Wire Selection and Component Selection.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical components such as ECUs, sensors, connectors and actuators.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics or related engineering discipline.
