About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Zonal Manager - Sales to lead and expand our merchant acquisition and digital payments business across the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing merchant coverage, managing sales teams, building channel partnerships, and promoting payment solutions such as Payment Gateway, UPI, QR, Soundbox, POS, and other value-added services.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in fintech, payments, or BFSI sales, strong leadership capabilities, and expertise in merchant relationship management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth
- Drive merchant acquisition and expansion across the assigned zone.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Increase penetration of digital payment solutions including UPI, Payment Gateway, and value-added services.
- Develop and execute zone-specific sales strategies to maximize business growth.

Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers,



Territory Managers, and Sales Executives.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
- Ensure productivity, target achievement, and capability building of the sales team.

Merchant & Partner Development
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key merchants and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
- Develop channel partnerships to accelerate merchant acquisition and revenue growth.

Market Expansion
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Identify high-potential locations and ensure effective coverage.
- Implement sales and promotional campaigns to enhance market presence.

Revenue & Portfolio Management
- Drive transaction growth and merchant activation.
- Monitor business performance through MIS and sales reports.
- Ensure healthy revenue contribution from acquired merchants.
