Role & responsibilities

Provide cost estimates for current product development.

Analyse and estimate the costs of company product, including materials, labour, overhead, and other related expenses.

Develop and maintain cost models for various new products.

Conduct cost comparisons and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand manufacturing processes and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Recommend process changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.

Monitor actual costs versus budgeted costs and analyze variances.





Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure cost considerations are integrated into the design phase.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in cost estimation and reporting.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cost analysis and estimation

Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of machining processes: CNC/VMC, grinding, fabrication (swaging, CNC bending), heat treatment etc.
- Able to read and understand Engineering drawings along with technical specifications.
- Knowledge of calculating raw material, MHR (machine hour rate), cycle time, etc. to develop target cost
