We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 401(k) Retirement Plans Specialist to support the administration, compliance, and operational management of U.S. retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 401(k) plan administration, participant services, compliance testing, plan documentation, and client/stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end administration of 401(k) and other defined contribution retirement plans.
- Process employee enrollments, distributions, loans, rollovers, and contribution changes.
- Perform plan compliance activities, including ADP/ACP testing, eligibility reviews, and annual plan audits.
- Review and reconcile participant and payroll contribution data.
- Coordinate with plan sponsors, trustees, investment providers, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
- Ensure compliance with IRS, ERISA, and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations.
- Support annual reporting requirements, including Form 5500 preparation and audit documentation.




- Research and resolve participant inquiries related to plan transactions and retirement benefits.
- Maintain accurate plan records and documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in U.S. Retirement Benefits/401(k) Plan Administration.
- Solid understanding of 401(k), Defined Contribution Plans, ERISA, IRS regulations, and retirement plan compliance.
- Experience with retirement plan recordkeeping platforms and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of compliance testing such as ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, and Coverage Testing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
