1.Installation and Deployment
● Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.
● Conductsite surveys to determine the optimal placement of fiber optic infrastructure. ● Setupandconfigure fiber optic equipment, including routers, switches, and related hardware.
● Ensurecompliance with industry standards and safety protocols during installation.
2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
● Performroutine maintenance on fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance.
● Diagnoseandrepair fiber optic faults, including cuts, bends, and other forms of damage.
● Usetesting equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and light sources to identify and resolve network issues.
● Conductregular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
3. Documentation and Reporting
● Maintainaccurate records of all installation and maintenance activities.
● Preparedetailed reports on network performance, faults, and repairs.
● Updatenetworkdiagrams and documentation to reflect changes and upgrades.
4. Customer Support




● Provide technical support and guidance to customers experiencing issues with their fiber optic connections.
● Work closely with the customer service team to resolve network-related issues promptly and efficiently.
● Conduct customer site visits when necessary to address and resolve technical problems. 5. TeamCollaboration and Development
● Collaborate with network engineers, planners, and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of fiber optic networks.
● Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
● Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
