About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Consultant / Developer to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience designing, implementing, and governing the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), with exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB — CI class hierarchy, identification and reconciliation rules, and CI relationship management
- Align CMDB architecture with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) best practices
- Configure and manage Discovery (horizontal) and Service Mapping (top-down) to populate and maintain CMDB accuracy
- Establish CMDB governance frameworks, data quality remediation workflows, and CMDB Health dashboards
- Manage Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules to prevent duplicate/orphaned CIs
- Administer MID Servers, discovery schedules, credentials, and patterns for accurate CI population




- Collaborate with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management teams to ensure CMDB supports incident, change, and asset processes
- Produce CMDB compliance and audit-readiness reporting for stakeholders

Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on ServiceNow CMDB administration and data modeling
- CSDM implementation experience
- Discovery and/or Service Mapping exposure
- Identification/Reconciliation Rules (IRE) configuration
- ServiceNow scripting fundamentals (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts)
- Certifications preferred: CSA, CIS-Discovery, CAD

Experience Required

5–10 years overall IT experience, with demonstrable hands-on ServiceNow CMDB implementation and governance experience

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
