Role & responsibilities
- Plan, execute and monitor electrical operation and maintenance activities across the CHP.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of electrical equipment and systems.
- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of HT/LT systems and CHP electrical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, VFDs, soft starters, APFC panels and associated equipment.
- Monitor electrical systems associated with crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, stackers/reclaimers and other material handling equipment.
- Analyze electrical breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment criticality and operating conditions.
- Coordinate planned shutdowns and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and within the scheduled time.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs,



equipment manuals and technical documents.
- Monitor electrical parameters and identify abnormal trends that could lead to equipment failure.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Instrumentation, Operations and Safety teams for integrated plant maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 510 years of relevant experience in electrical operation and maintenance.
- Experience in Coal Handling Plant, mining, power plant, cement, steel, bulk material handling or other heavy industrial environments preferred.
- Robust hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems is essential.
