Job Title: Quality Control Manager (Steel Fabrication)

Location: ATGAON (Mumbai Nashik Highway)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager with minimum 6 to7 years of experience in Inspection &Quality; Control of Heavy railway equipment’sto join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards, performing inspections, maintaining documentation and working closely with production teams to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Systems:

· Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System(QMS) complaint with ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2 Standards.

· Ensure all equipment’s manufacturing process as per QAP, railway standards and welding specifications.

· Lead internal quality audits and prepare the documents for WPS, PQR, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

In Process & Production Quality Control:

· Establish and manage inspection test plans across all production stages: Fabrication, machining, surface treatment,



electrical wiring, hydraulic piping and final assembly.

· Review MTC and Oversee Non-Destructive Testing(NDT)processes (UT, MT, PT) for critical welds, shafts, wheels etc.

· Factory Acceptance Testing(FAT) Functional testing prior to clients visit.

· Positive Welding Knowledge.

RCA and Continuous Improvement:

· Lead Root Cause Analysis methodologies for non-conformance identified during manufacturing and site commissioning.

· Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program to drive down Cost of poor Quality (COPQ) and reduce rework.

Supplier Quality Assurance:

· Partner with Procurement to evaluate suppliers.

· Oversee incoming quality inspection procedures to eliminate defects.

Team Leadership & Calibration:

· Lead, mentor, and train a team of QC Engineers, inspectors and technicians.
