We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Engineering Manager to lead our performance engineering team. The successful candidate should have at least 11 years of experience and will be responsible for ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. This role involves hands-on contribution, strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on technical contributor as well as leading scrum-based teams driving Performance Engineering Delivery and Strategy. Ensuring robust and scalable performance framework that enhances the stability, reliability and efficiency of our platform.
Framework Development and Management:
- Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable E2E UI & API Performance frameworks for Platform applications.
- Evaluate and implement Performance tools and technologies that align with the company's goals and technical infrastructure.
Performance Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive performance engineering strategies that align with business goals.
- Establish performance benchmarks and standards for applications and infrastructure.
Planning, Execution and Optimization:
- Oversee the design and execution of performance tests, planning, scheduling, for various types of performance tests such as load, soak, stress, and endurance testing.
- Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and work with development teams to optimize application performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development, QA, Dev, Operations, and Product teams to integrate performance engineering practices into the SDLC.
- Communicate performance findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
Tools and Technologies:
- Evaluate, select, and implement performance testing tools and technologies
