STORE ASSISTANT

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Assistant to support day-to-day store operations, inventory management, material handling, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of storekeeping procedures, basic ERP and Excel skills, and strong coordination abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, checking, storing, and issuing materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper stock records, inward/outward registers, and inventory documentation.
- Ensure materials are properly labelled, arranged, and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and support stock reconciliation and physical inventory verification.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, logistics, and other departments for smooth material movement.
- Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies and report them to the concerned person.




- Follow company procedures for inventory control, safety, housekeeping, and material handling.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of storekeeping procedures and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic understanding of ERP software and MS Excel.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Familiarity with stock reconciliation and physical stock verification.
- Basic knowledge of GST invoicing and documentation.
- Basic understanding of GRN, PO, stock issue/receipt, material movement, and inventory records.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work systematically.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse/store safety, 5S, FIFO/FEFO, material identification, and storage practices.
- Ability to work effectively with different departments and handle routine store operations.
