Position: Python Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 7-10 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
- Develop robust test automation solutions following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and automation integration.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution.
Required Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
- Experience in BDD Cucumber framework.
- Strong knowledge of API Automation Testing and REST services.
- Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or similar API testing tools.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Version control knowledge using Git/Bitbucket.
- Robust debugging and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Experience in BFSI domain.
- Exposure to Playwright automation.
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Basic understanding of GenAI/Copilot/OpenAI concepts.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
