Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating drivers, booking loads, communicating with brokers, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Find and book loads through load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
- Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers.
- Dispatch loads to drivers and provide pickup/delivery information.
- Track drivers and monitor load status.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, brokers, and customers.
- Handle rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and other transportation documents.
- Follow up on pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and update dispatch software.
- Resolve issues and delays during transportation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in USA trucking dispatching preferred.
- Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of U.S. trucking routes and freight markets.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple drivers.
- Basic knowledge of DOT and trucking industry regulations is a plus.
- Positive English communication skill
