Sr Software Engineer – Backend (Java)

Key Responsibilities:

•
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using
Java and Spring Boot
.

•
Build event-driven and streaming solutions using
Kafka
for high-throughput, low-latency systems.

•
Design and optimize data models using
SQL and NoSQL databases
(e.g., MySQL/Postgres, MongoDB/Cassandra).

•
Own
technical design
, including low-level and high-level design, performance optimization, and system scalability.

•
Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

•
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver business-critical features.

•




Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

Required Skills:

•
Strong hands-on experience in
Java
,
Spring Boot
, and RESTful microservices.

•
Solid experience with
Kafka
or similar messaging/streaming platforms.

•
Robust fundamentals in
SQL
and experience with
NoSQL databases
.

•
Proven experience in
system and technical design
for distributed systems.

•
Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices patterns.

Nice to Have:

•
Experience in large-scale eCommerce or high-traffic platforms.

•
Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
