Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support business applications and database operations.
- Manage and support Oracle Database technologies, ensuring database availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain indexing, partitioning, and other database optimization techniques.
- Analyze execution plans, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance improvements.
- Monitor and tune database performance, including memory, CPU, and storage utilization.
- Collaborate with application development and business teams to deliver scalable and efficient database solutions.

Preferred candidate profile




- A skilled Oracle qualified with strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle Database technologies.
- An analytical thinker with expertise in SQL tuning, execution plan analysis, and database troubleshooting.
- A proactive team player who can work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of experience in Oracle Database Development and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining PL/SQL objects, SQL query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale databases and business-critical applications will be an added advantage.
