Hiring: Specialist / Sr. Specialist Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity and ITSM

Role Overview

Seeking a DR/BCP and ITSM Specialist to lead end-to-end disaster recovery planning, execution, and governance for enterprise applications. The role requires strong coordination across Infra, DBA, Application, and business teams, along with hands-on execution of DR drills.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end DR test lifecycle (scope, planning, execution, closure)
- Lead failover, validation, and failback activities across systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless DR execution
- Act as central SPOC for stakeholder & client communication during DR events
- Track RTO/RPO adherence and recovery validation metrics
- Identify risks, drive issue resolution, and manage escalations
- Conduct post-test reviews (PIRs) and drive continuous improvements
- Ensure DR documentation is updated, compliant, and audit-ready





Mandate skill: Disaster Recovery Management, ITSM

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of DR & BCP concepts (RTO, RPO, recovery strategies)
- Solid project management & coordination skills
- Experience working with Infra, DB, Application, Network teams
- Strong stakeholder & client-facing communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving capability
- Valuable understanding of incident, change and problem management

Technical Exposure
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, Applications & DB dependencies
- ServiceNow / ITSM tools
- MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel
- Project tracking tools (MS Project / Jira)

Good to Have
- Exposure to Incident, Problem, Change Management
- Experience in DR governance, audits, and compliance
- Experience handling enterprise DR drills / crisis scenarios
