Job Summary

Role Summary - We are seeking experienced IBM Sterling File Gateway Support Analysts to provide 24x7 operational support for a critical enterprise file transfer setting within a large banking organization. The role is primarily focused on monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, operational validation, and stakeholder coordination.\r\n \r\nThe position is operations-focused and does not include implementing production changes, infrastructure upgrades, configuration modifications, or planned maintenance activities, which are handled by separate engineering teams.\r\n \r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nMonitor IBM Sterling File Gateway and related Managed File Transfer (MFT) infrastructure.\r\nInvestigate and resolve file transfer failures, transaction processing issues, routing failures,



and service disruptions.\r\nPerform transaction replay and operational recovery activities as required.\r\nConduct production and QA environment health checks at the beginning of each shift.\r\nCoordinate with business partners, vendors, clients, and internal operations teams during incidents and service outages.\r\nEscalate issues to appropriate support teams and ensure timely resolution.\r\nDocument incidents, troubleshooting activities, findings, actions taken, and outcomes.\r\nSupport operational validation and business verification activities during infrastructure and network maintenance events.\r\nProvide shift handover reports and operational status updates.\r\nPerform monthly Red Hat/Linux server OS patching activities.\r\nEnsure adherence to operational procedures, SLAs, and compliance requirements.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nIBM Sterling File Gateway Administration (Production Support)\r\nIBM Connect: Direct (NDM)\r\nSecure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)\r\nManaged File Transfer (MFT) Technologies\r\nProduction Support and Incident Management\r\nTroubleshooting an
