Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer – L2 to manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure for the Bridgestone project. The candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and ensuring network availability in a 247 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, connectivity, latency, packet-loss and network availability issues.
- Work on VLAN, STP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and IP addressing.
- Troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP.
- Handle network incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing tools.
- Coordinate with ISP and internal teams for circuit and connectivity-related issues.




- Perform root-cause analysis and escalate complex issues to L3 teams when required.
- Support planned network changes, maintenance activities and configuration updates.
- Maintain proper incident documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
- Participate in 247 rotational shifts and shift handover activities.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Support.
- Solid hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, DHCP and DNS.
- Experience with OSPF, BGP/EIGRP and basic MPLS.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with Incident & Change Management.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or other ITSM/ticketing tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
