Junior Structural Steel Draftsman – Job Responsibilities

Qualification - Diploma in Civil or Mechanic

Fresher

Assist in preparing structural steel shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings under the guidance of senior engineers and draftsmen.

Prepare detailed drawings using CAD software according to project requirements.

Revise and modify drawings based on design changes and client comments.

Support senior draftsmen in preparing connection details and assembly drawings.

Assist in preparing material take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ).

Verify dimensions, measurements, and drawing details before submission.

Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and project documents.

Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure drawings are accurate and easy to understand.





Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

Follow company standards, engineering specifications, and drafting procedures.

Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to resolve drawing-related issues.

Learn and apply industry standards related to structural steel fabrication and detailing.

Ensure drawings are completed within the project schedule.

Perform other drafting and documentation tasks assigned by senior engineers and management.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,500.00 per month
