The Solution Architect will evaluate existing system capabilities, define architecture strategies, and lead modernization efforts for internally developed applications by leveraging cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
The role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and enterprise architects to deliver architecture solutions that align with business objectives, technology standards, security requirements, and strategic modernization goals.
This position is also responsible for architecture governance activities, technical assessments, technology evaluations, technical debt remediation plans, and supporting cloud migration initiatives.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Material Planning, and Parts Logistics business leaders, Product Managers, Software Delivery Leads, Software Engineers, and Enterprise Architects.
- Define solution architectures that support business capabilities and long-term technology strategies.
- Lead system design activities, technology assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Provide technical guidance through proof-of-concepts (POCs), performance optimization initiatives, product evaluations, and fit-gap assessments.
- Design and support cloud-native and hybrid architectures leveraging GCP, Azure, and related technologies.
- Drive modernization initiatives for legacy applications and support migration to cloud platforms.
- Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
- Document architecture decisions, technical designs, and implementation strategies.
- Identify and drive remediation of technical debt.
- Collaborate with multiple delivery teams to support successful solution implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
