Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Education Counsellor to join our team in Mukteshwar. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their study-abroad goals, recommending suitable countries/universities, and converting enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding study-abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and countries.
- Understand students’ academic profiles, career goals, and financial backgrounds.
- Provide accurate information about admission and visa processes.
- Handle student enquiries and follow up with prospective students.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission/sales targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and update student records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with the admissions and visa teams for smooth processing.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Stay updated with university requirements, intakes, and study-abroad trends.
Required Skills
- Solid student counselling and sales skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the Study Abroad / Overseas Education industry.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
Eligibility
- Age: 25–40 years
- Minimum 2 years experience in education counselling / study abroad / sales will be preferred.
