Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation.
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely TDS payments.
- Handle Income Tax-related compliance and support tax return, assessment and documentation activities.
- Manage PF and ESIC compliance, including monthly calculations, payments and online filings.
- Handle Qualified Tax (PT) calculations, payments and statutory returns.
- Ensure timely preparation and uploading/submission of statutory returns on respective government portals.
- Maintain statutory compliance calendars and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Reconcile statutory liabilities with books of accounts.
- Coordinate with the Accounts, HR and Payroll teams for PF, ESIC, TDS and PT requirements.
- Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, auditors and statutory authorities whenever required.
- Assist in handling GST/TDS notices, queries and other statutory correspondence.
- Maintain proper records of challans, returns,
acknowledgements and supporting documents.
- Support internal, statutory and tax audits by providing required documents and reconciliations.
- Track changes in tax laws and statutory regulations and communicate relevant updates to management.
- Prepare compliance-related MIS and reports for management review.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and Professional Tax.
- Practical experience in statutory compliance return preparation and online filing/uploading.
- Strong knowledge of GST return filing and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of TDS calculation, payment and quarterly return filing.
- Experience handling PF, ESIC and PT monthly compliance.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and reconciliation.
- Experience with Tally / ERP / Accounting Software.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
