Role Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing recent business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting Unitech Shipping Services’ full range of logistics solutions. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and cold calling, preparing and presenting proposals,



coordinating with operations teams to develop competitive quotations, and ensuring timely follow-up with customers. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, tracking market trends, and providing feedback to management on customer needs and service improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular client visits and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing.
- Knowledge of logistics and shipping services, such as freight forwarding, customs clearance, and distribution.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
