Senior Dialysis Technician - Job Description
Position Overview
The Senior Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing safe, efficient and high quality dialysis support to patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role involves operating and maintaining dialysis equipment, preparing patients and treatment areas, monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining infection control standards and supporting the clinical team. The Senior Dialysis Technician may also guide and supervise junior dialysis technicians.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare dialysis machines, equipment, consumables and treatment stations before each dialysis session.
· Perform pre treatment checks on dialysis machines and related equipment.
· Prepare and connect patients for hemodialysis according to established clinical protocols and under appropriate clinical supervision.
