The Unreal Engine Environment & Lighting Artist is responsible for the creation, implementation, and continuous refinement of photorealistic automotive visualization environments. The role combines creative concept development with technical implementation to deliver premium visual experiences for marketing campaigns, configurators, cinematics, and interactive real-time applications.

Creative Development
- Develop creative visual concepts and workplace ideas for premium automotive brands.
- Create mood boards and visual directions that communicate the artistic vision to customers.
- Present concepts internally and externally and iterate them based on customer feedback.
- Transform approved concepts into production-ready environments while maintaining the intended artistic direction throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Environment Creation
- Design and build automotive environments with a robust focus on realism, visual storytelling, performance, and brand-appropriate aesthetics.
- Create environment blockouts and 3D geometry in Autodesk 3ds Max.




- Integrate environment assets into Unreal Engine and optimize them for production use.
- Continuously refine environments to achieve a highly realistic visual appearance.

Lighting & Rendering
- Create high-quality lighting setups using HDRIs, Point Lights, Rect Lights, Spot Lights, and additional Unreal Engine lighting systems.
- Produce lighting solutions for static marketing imagery, cinematics, interactive configurators, and real-time streaming applications.
- Work confidently with both Unreal Engine Lumen and Path Tracing to achieve visually consistent photorealistic results across different rendering pipelines.
- Understand the strengths, limitations, and optimization strategies of both rendering methods.
- Optimize lighting setups depending on quality, performance, and production requirements.

Camera, Cinematics & Composition
- Create cinematic camera setups for marketing images, configurators, feature films
