We work on real-world e-commerce accounting for international clients Shopify and Amazon sellers, payment gateways, and multi-currency payouts. This is a hands-on role for a commerce graduate who wants to build genuine reconciliation, bookkeeping, and reporting skills quickly, not just process invoices.
What You'll Do
- Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe/PayPal)
- Reconcile marketplace settlement reports against the general ledger
- Assist in monthly P&L; preparation and variance commentary
- Support inventory and COGS tracking across SKUs and channels
- Work daily in Excel and Xero, plus internal reconciliation tools
Who We're Looking For
We're filtering for candidates who can actually do the work from day one, not just candidates who meet the degree requirement. Please self-assess honestly against the bar below before applying it saves everyone's time.
- B.Com / M.Com graduate (freshers welcome)
- Can explain debit/credit rules and complete a basic bank reconciliation statement unassisted
- Comfortable in Excel: SUM/SUMIF,
VLOOKUP, and basic Pivot Tables — not just typing numbers into cells
- Detail-oriented: can spot a 500 mismatch in a 100-row statement without being told where to look
- Available full-time and can commit to the work mode listed above
Compensation Note
During the 6-month probation period, salary is 12,000–14,000/month.
On confirmation, it moves to 14,000–20,000/month, placed within that band based on your assessment score and performance during probation — not a flat fresher rate. Candidates who transparent the Excel + accounting assessment with a strong score should expect an offer toward the top of the confirmed range. This is intentionally more transparent than a wide, unexplained band so only genuinely interested candidates apply.
