We're looking for a Video Editor with 13 years of hands-on experience to join our in-house creative team in Salem. This role covers a wide range — from fast-paced Reels and ad creatives for client brands to wedding and cinematic edits. Range, storytelling instinct, and speed all matter here.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form content (Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos for client and internal channels
- Edit wedding films and cinematic videos — storytelling, pacing, and emotion-driven cuts
- Work closely with the content and strategy team to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, on-brand content
- Add motion graphics, text animations, sound design, and color correction/grading as needed
- Manage multiple client projects and deadlines at once
- Stay updated on video trends, formats, and platform best practices (Instagram, YouTube)
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience (agency, in-house, or wedding/cinematic studio background)
- Robust command of Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut Pro (any one is fine, more is a plus)
- Working knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics
- Solid color grading skills — cinematic look and feel for wedding/event content
- An eye for pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific content (what works on Reels what works on a wedding film what works on YouTube)
- Ability to work fast without compromising quality — agency pace
- Portfolio or reel required (please include both social/ad edits and wedding/cinematic samples if available)
Good to Have
- Experience editing for Tamil-language or regional content
- Basic shooting/DSLR or mobile videography skills
- Sound design, background scoring, or voiceover editing experience
- Experience with candid/cinematic wedding storytelling formats (teasers, highlight films)Role & responsibilities
