Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled QC / Lab Technician for a leading Color and Pigment Manufacturing Company based in Africa. This role focuses heavily on quality control testing for raw materials and finished pigment batches. The ideal candidate must have specialized experience in paints, coatings, or ink formulations, ensuring all products meet strict industrial and regulatory standards.

Specialisation Required:

· Paints and Coating Formulations: Hands-on experience in testing, developing, or adjusting formulations for paints, industrial coatings, or related chemical products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to ensure the quality of color products and coatings.

· Test raw materials and finished pigment batches strictly for quality and consistency.

· Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, titrators, and chromatography systems.

· Prepare and analyze chemical samples for testing,



ensuring high accuracy and precision.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop current products, formulations, and manufacturing processes.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

· Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure total compliance with regulatory standards.

· Document and maintain accurate records of all test results, formulas, and batch approvals.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Diploma / Degree in Paint / Chemical Technology.

· Experience: [e.g., 3 to 8 years] of relevant experience in QC testing specifically within the Paints, Coatings, Inks, or Pigment industries.

· Technical Skills: Paint formulation testing, color matching, wet chemistry, titrations, and lab equipment calibration.

· International Mobility: Valid passp
