Key Responsibilities:
- Track manufacturing expenses and analyze material, labor, and production variances.
- Monitor production wastage and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Oversee physical stock verification, inventory valuation, and periodic reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation, including GST, customs duties, and income tax.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and manage tax assessments and related compliances.
- Plan and manage corporate and personal taxation while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate statutory, tax, internal, and cost audits.
- Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely closure of audit observations.
Eligibility:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience in manufacturing/FMCG industry will be preferred.
- Robust knowledge of accounting, taxation, costing, inventory, and audit.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
