Ensure despatches are carried out as per the plan received from Marketing and closely coordinate with truck and bulker transporters to achieve daily dispatch targets.

Closely coordinate with transporters for arrangement of trucks to achieve dispatches of 4,000 tonnes per day, subject to material availability.

Strive to maintain customer service levels of at least 90%, subject to order availability and dispatch capacity.

Maintain awareness of prevailing market freight rates to optimize overall logistics cost.

Should have exposure to and understanding of digitization initiatives in logistics operations.

Knowledge of SAP functionality for logistics operations is essential.

Supervise the movement of hired trucks and bulkers, including monitoring vehicle movement and processing / passing of related bills.

Coordinate with Sales & Marketing for smooth operation and movement of trucks/bulkers and other dispatch vehicles.

Liaise with branch offices, transporters, the packing plant,



and the production team as required for smooth and timely dispatch operations.

Communicate and coordinate with branch offices to resolve unloading-related issues and other delivery concerns.

Ensure smooth movement of inward and outward trucks and maintain timely and proper vehicle placement.

Oversee logistics / dispatch management activities to support timely fulfilment of customer requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation and issuance of invoices and bills related to the Distribution / Logistics function.

Maintain required logistics and distribution records and ensure proper record keeping and MIS reporting.

Ensure availability and completeness of all required records and operational documentation.

Ensure compliance with IMS guidelines and applicable safety norms, including reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and improvement suggestions as prescribed by the company.
