Senior Functional Safety Engineer

DEKRA is now looking for competent and qualified Senior Functional Safety Engineer.

What will be your responsibilities?
- Lead the development of advanced functional safety engineering work products, such as risk analysis (HARA), safety concepts, and requirements and architecture specifications at system, software and hardware level.
- Review functional safety work products to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.




- Perform safety analyses and verification activities to validate the effectiveness of safety measures.
- Manage engineering work products under configuration management to ensure traceability and version control.
- Track the progress of project-specific engineering deliverables and their status.
- Provide regular updates on the status of safety-related tasks and milestones.
- Act as a technical focal point within the functional safety team, actively participating in complex problem-solving and technical decision-making.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of safety work product
- Coach and mentor recent joiners to ensure their successful integration into the team.
- Deliver and conduct internal and external workshops and training in the field of Functional Safety and Security.
