Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and academically strong HOD – B.Com to lead the Commerce Department and oversee all academic, administrative and departmental activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of B.Com academics, university procedures, NAAC/IQAC processes, faculty management, student development and academic documentation.

The HOD will be responsible for maintaining academic excellence, developing faculty capabilities, supporting accreditation requirements and ensuring the smooth functioning and continuous growth of the B.Com Department.

Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership
- Lead and manage the overall academic functioning of the B.Com Department.
- Ensure effective implementation and delivery of the B.Com curriculum.
- Prepare and monitor academic plans, timetables,



workload allocation and teaching schedules.
- Monitor syllabus completion and quality of teaching.
- Review student academic performance and implement improvement measures.
- Coordinate internal assessments, examinations and academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with university and institutional academic requirements.

NAAC & IQAC Responsibilities
- Take active responsibility for NAAC and IQAC-related departmental activities.
- Coordinate departmental data and documentation required for NAAC, SSR and AQAR.
- Maintain proper records, reports, supporting documents and evidence of departmental activities.
- Ensure all academic and extracurricular activities are properly documented.
- Coordinate with the IQAC, Principal and Vice Principal for accreditation requirements.
- Support academic audits, inspections and accreditation visits.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives within the department.
