Functional Safety Assessor

DEKRA is now looking for competent and qualified Safety Assessor.

What will be your responsibilities?:
- Plan and execute comprehensive functional safety assessments.
- Evaluate safety work products to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
- Verify closure of assessment findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Create detailed assessment reports aligned with customer milestones.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of assessment tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all assessment activities and outcomes.
- Coach and mentor new joiners to ensure their successful integration into the team.

What do we expect from you?:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in system/software/hardware design and development.
- Minimum 3 years of functional safety implementation in automotive ECU development.
- Experience with risk analysis, FMEDA, FTA, and other safety assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Project and task coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
- ASPICE knowledge or ASPICE provisional
