Job Description
- Lead and execute structural design and analysis of ship hull structures.
- Perform detailed finite element analysis (FEA) for structural integrity, fatigue, and strength assessment.
- Ensure compliance with classification society rules, statutory requirements, and company standards.
- Review and validate design calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including hydrodynamics,outfitting, piping, and production departments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies, processes, and bestpractices.
- Solid technical expertise in ship structural design and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools and structural assessment methods.
- Sound knowledge of classification society rules, ship design standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
