Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise daily restaurant service operations. The Captain will be responsible for leading the service team, ensuring excellent guest experience, maintaining service standards, and coordinating smoothly with the kitchen and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant service during assigned shifts.
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional dining experience.
- Allocate tables and sections to service staff.
- Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and special recommendations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure food is prepared and served correctly and on time.
- Monitor food presentation, service quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Ensure proper table setup, service procedures, and restaurant appearance.
- Train, guide, and motivate waiters and other service staff.
- Monitor staff attendance,



grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure proper billing and payment procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with the cashier, kitchen, housekeeping, and management teams.
- Monitor stock levels of service items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, and condiments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
- Assist management in maintaining restaurant sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Prepare shift handover reports and communicate operational issues to the manager.

Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards.
- Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other multicuisine menus.
- Strong guest-handling and complaint-resolution skills.
- Leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of POS and billing systems.
