Role & responsibilities
- Lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP solutions within the assigned functional area.
- Own functional workstreams throughout the SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and support lifecycle.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functional solutions.
- Configure SAP modules and ensure solutions align with business processes and SAP best practices.
- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on custom developments, integrations, and enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless integration between modules.
- Lead functional testing including unit, integration, regression, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Support data migration, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Identify opportunities for business-process optimization, automation, and SAP standardization.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for business requirements that are not covered by standard SAP functionality.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP architects, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
- Provide functional estimates, effort assessments, project updates, and risk/issue reporting.
- Lead workshops, process walkthroughs, user training, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Support SAP S/4HANA transformation, upgrades, rollouts, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior SAP consultants and provide functional guidance and quality reviews.
- Ensure SAP solutions comply with security, governance, documentation, and organizational standards.

Preferred candidate profile
- 5 to 10 years of SAP functional experience, with strong expertise in at least one core SAP module such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, or SuccessFactors.
- Proven experience in SAP implementation, configuration, enhancements, support, upgrades, migration, and rollout projects.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of SAP
